Mobile homes in Spain
Mobile homes in Spain have come a very long way in the last 10 years and all thanks to quality residential parks. The mobile homes themselves are no longer the holiday static caravans that most people are think of. Mobile homes in Spain offer a lot more than that.
To begin with the parks allow residents to build up to 40 sq mtrs of decking to the front and side of each home plus the plots tend to be larger, 200 sq mtrs in most cases.
Take the Willerby Vogue model for example. It is a 41 x 13 home that has two bedrooms and French doors to the front. Ideal to add decking to extend the lounge. On the side you can have a dining room built as in this case. This means the residents get to enjoy up to 90 sq mtrs of living space.
The other good thing is that mobile home parks in Spain do not give a time limit on how long the mobile home can remain on the park. The only stipulation is that it must be maintained in keeping with the 5* park it is on. The parks are also open all year round as well.
Inside the mobile home is also very special. Many owners furnish inside themselves. It is a new concept here in Spain to buy a mobile home unfurnished. The sizes of the mobile homes allow you to do that. That is why you can live on a residential mobile home park in Spain very easily. Home from home. On the park everyone speaks English. Everyone enjoying the same lifestyle.
That said there is an alternative to owning a mobile home in Spain. You can now have a Park Lodge home manufactured here in Spain instead. They are very special indeed. You have the chance to design your own home when considering a Park lodge home.
Park Lodge homes give you a huge choice in designs. The Windsor for example has been designed with two French doors to maximise the potential decking area to be built afterwards. Custom built to park home quality these homes are simply miles away from being called a Static Caravan. With quality double glazed Georgian windows and a custom roof design these homes are considered the ultimate in quality and style.
Inside the Park Lodge homes you will see that they are very different to the UK manufactured mobile homes that are shipped over to Spain. Again these homes can be supplied unfurnished or part furnished.
Living in a quality home on a quality park is what the lifestyle here in Spain is all about. On Park La Posada and Paradise Park you have the best of all worlds. A settled community to become your friends and neighbours, a park management who take pride in looking after their residents and of course 5 star exclusive facilities to be enjoyed. From swimming pools to a four lane outdoor bowls green. Life is wonderful on both parks.
Why not come and visit the parks, Choose where you would like to be first. Costa Del Sol (Park La Posada) or the Costa Blanca (Paradise Park). We offer dedicated inspection visits where you get to speak to the residents as well as seeing the quality of the parks themselves.
On a visit you can choose which homes for sale you wish to see inside. You will be shown round the park by one of the residents.

BUYING A RESALE MOBILE HOME
The process is very easy. First choose from the homes on sale on our website, the homes you would like to view on a visit.
If a home ticks all the boxes during your visit you simply make a purchase request.
If the seller agrees to the sale we then arrange for a legal sales agreement to be drawn up and signed by all parties. This service costs just 200 Euros and it also includes a home check of the boiler, air-conditioning, cooker, fridge and freezer by the park engineers just prior to completion. Paying for this service takes the home off sale straight away.
A 10% deposit is then paid into a "Client Account" within 14 days and remains there until the completion date which will be on or before three months after an offer has been accepted. .
Just prior to the completion date the home is checked, we take possession of the home, and you will be advised to make the final payment to the seller. Once it is confirmed that the payment has been made the home is then yours.
No wonder resale mobile homes are so popular.
BUYING A NEW HOME
Buying a new mobile home or a custom-built Park Lodge Home is just as easy. It simply involves different processes. For UK manufactured mobile homes we recommend Willerby/BK Bluebird and Regal Leisure Homes.
Both manufacturers display show homes at various mobile home shows throughout the year, so you can always get to see the latest models. Regal Leisure also have the big advantage in that they are not far from Yeovil our UK base, which means we can easily arrange factory visits.
For Park Lodge Homes designed and built in Alicante it is a different process. Once a plot has been reserved you can start designing a home best suited to where it will be going. Where to put a French Door? Where the lounge should go? What view from the kitchen window?
To help you design your home we allocate a project manager to you. He will arrange a visit to the factory in Alicante so you can see for yourself all the choices you have. You can even start with a model already designed such as “The Windsor” and alter it to suit you.
No two Park Lodge Homes will look the same which means you can make the home into something special to you. You will also not be paying so much money to transport the home to the park as it will already be in Spain. This means more can be spent on the home itself.
New UK mobile home or custom built Park Lodge Home? The choice is yours after you have reserved your plot on either park. New homes require a 35% deposit and the balance paid once the home is ready to be transported.
WHY COSTA DIFFERENCE?
The name Costa Difference was chosen for a reason back in 2005. Costa as in Costa del Sol or Costa Blanca, and Difference because we want to show the difference between dedicated genuine residential mobile home parks and tourist camping sites that also allow mobile homes.
Making a difference is all down to being passionate in what we do. We are also working with park owners who share our passion. The result? We are showing two wonderful residential mobile home parks that are without doubt the best retirement parks that Spain has to offer.
Having chosen to represent residential parks only we are now tasked by the park owners to help people see for themselves if living in Spain is really for them. Spain does not suit everyone which is why that aspect of what we do is so important.
So where does our service start? We think that perhaps it has already started with you reading this and all the other information we have provided online. Maybe you now have some questions for us? If so please feel free to contact us and ask them.
Once you feel that you have found all the answers the next stage is to seriously think about coming on a visit to see a residential park and the lifestyle the residents enjoy.
On a short-dedicated visit you will have a golden opportunity to talk to residents you meet whilst on the park. Asking them questions at the time is a great idea because you will be hearing about their genuine experiences.
The Costa Difference way is very different. Our testimonials come from the residents themselves face to face. They have all gone through the same experiences. Started by asking questions, then came on a visit. After that it is back to the UK with plenty to think about.
If you do the same and moving to Spain becomes your dream, then we are going to be with you all the way.
There are many “Costa” companies on the internet selling everything to do with Spain but there is only ONE Costa Difference Mobile Homes in Spain. To find us again easily why not bookmark this page. We are at your service.

LATEST NEWS FROM SPAIN
Air-traffic controllers at Barcelona’s El Prat have announced a series of 24-hour strikes over the summer in an ongoing dispute over staff shortages.
The industrial action by workers from the air-traffic control centre at El Prat will begin on June 20th, a few days before the school holidays here in Spain and the summer holiday season really gets underway.
The dates of the 24-hour strikes have not been confirmed as yet but any action will affect flights in and out of El Prat plus flights to the Balearic Islands and airports on Spain’s eastern coast.
The strikes have been called by the Air-Traffic Controllers' Union (USCA) which is embroiled in an ongoing dispute over staffing levels.
USCA has repeatedly warned that there are an insufficient number of air traffic controllers to cover flight traffic forcing controllers to work overtime in order to provide cover.
