November is the time of year that once again flight bargains can be found and so all of November as well as leading up to the end of the first two weeks in December the team do not have time to think about Christmas which of course is just around the corner.
Some interesting news and facts for you this month:
Firstly an interesting fact: In October the parks welcomed two single ladies as they took possession of their respective mobile homes. For us we feel that the fact they have made the move to Spain and are now living as full time residents testament to the security aspect of living on a mobile home park.
So what happened when they arrived in Spain? Firstly they were met at the airport and taken to Antequera where they could stock up with some essentials in the main shopping complex. Next they were taken to the park and settled into their new home. Day one and they are already relaxing on their decking.
Our job did not end there however. Peter & Jean on La Posada or Tom & Sheila on La Vina then took over in their support roles. They arranged for all the documents to be prepared such as NIE as well as taking them shopping again should they need anything else. They also advised on things like where to buy a car and how to set up bank accounts in the local village. After a few days other residents had also welcomed them as well and of course new friendships began to develop. After a week or two our job became in case of need as the residents and of course the park office were taking care of their day to day needs until they gain full independence by buying their own car.
Park Home Spain SL our Spanish sister company have also been busy. They have joined forces with a Spanish developer and have taken on a brand new complex in the village of Mollina comprising of 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments. They have done so to launch the Try Spain before you buy scheme . The idea is very simple. The complex is run on the same lines as a mobile home park with an office for support and of course the Costa Difference reps on hand as well. Clients can rent unfurnished apartments in the complex for 450 Euros (1 bed) 500 Euros (2 bed) and 600 Euros (3 bed) per month. Clients are then able to make sure that they like living in Spain first without having to buy a mobile home. A great concept we think. Although they set up the idea primarily for clients who wish to buy a new mobile we did not see why the idea could not be used by clients thinking of buying a resale mobile home as well.
At the end of 12 months clients can either buy a mobile home on the park they like through Spain Park Homes SL or Costa Difference Ltd or rent for a second 12 months if they are not yet in a position to buy a mobile home at that time. Take a look at www.antequeraspain.com to see some pictures.

Work has started on the new 4 lane bowling green on Park La Posada as well as phase 2B which means there will be 17 more plots available next year to receive new mobile homes. For new homes again it is Park Home Spain SL who arrange things www.costaparkhomespain.com Park La Vina are also in the final stages of getting ready to start work on their new phase as well so it is also possible to have a new home on there in the future as well. They also have a plot ready now should anyone wish to relocate their existing mobile home.
Finally: With the clocks going back we can now introduce the 3 night 4 day inspection visit option again. This is possible under the arrangement we have with the hotel we use as they regard the period until the clocks go forward again as off season. The price of the 3 night stay inspection visit is only 69 per person based on 2 sharing a hotel room or 89 for single occupancy. Details are on the website.

BUYING A RESALE MOBILE HOME
The process is very easy. First choose from the homes on sale on our website, the homes you would like to view on a visit.
If a home ticks all the boxes during your visit you simply make a purchase request.
If the seller agrees to the sale we then arrange for a legal sales agreement to be drawn up and signed by all parties. This service costs just 200 Euros and it also includes a home check of the boiler, air-conditioning, cooker, fridge and freezer by the park engineers just prior to completion. Paying for this service takes the home off sale straight away.
A 10% deposit is then paid into a "Client Account" within 14 days and remains there until the completion date which will be on or before three months after an offer has been accepted. .
Just prior to the completion date the home is checked, we take possession of the home, and you will be advised to make the final payment to the seller. Once it is confirmed that the payment has been made the home is then yours.
No wonder resale mobile homes are so popular.
BUYING A NEW HOME
Buying a new UK mobile home or a custom-built residential Park Lodge Home is very easy. It simply involves slightly different processes.

For Park Lodge Homes designed and built in Alicante and Burgos it is a different process. Once a plot has been reserved you can either buy a predesigned by us home or start designing your own home exactly how you want it.

New UK mobile home or custom-built residential Park Lodge Home? The choice is yours after you have reserved your plot on a park. New homes require a 35% deposit and the balance paid once the home is ready to be transported from the UK. Park Lodge Homes require a 30% deposit and the balance when the home is ready to leave the factory.

LATEST NEWS FROM SPAIN
A Spanish town in northern Spain has said that it will fine anybody who is seen buying items from illegal street vendors. The fine will be in the form of a fixed penalty of €300.
The order made in the resort of Salou has come in to effect this week with the ruling "The purchase or acquisition in the public space of food, beverages and other products from unauthorized street vending" will be punished with the hefty fine.
In another regulation, the sale or action of street vending “without the corresponding license" will also be sanctioned.
The town council, in a bid to clean up the area, also declared it would penalise those who drop litter without using public bins with fines of between €100 and €400.
