MOBILE HOME IN SPAIN NEWSLETTER ARCHIVE JAN 2009
Jan 2009 ** Some of the content might not be relevant on the date of reading this**
Firstly Happy New Year to everyone from Derick in the UK and all the team here in Spain. 2008 has been a good year for many people who having taken the plunge are now settling in to their new life over here. They have experienced their first Christmas and New Years Eve celebrations in Spain, Spanish or British style, the choice was theirs.
We are sure that they will be the first to tell visitors on their Inspection Visits how different the experience was.
2009 if all the pundits are right is going to be a shocking year in the UK with the financial crisis as well as unemployment rising. Not so as far as Costa Difference is concerned. We think that with the resale mobile homes being such good value, and the affordable lifestyle that goes with them, we are confident that 2009 will not be any different to 2008 and once again the team are in for a nice and busy year showing visitors the town of Antequera, the local villages, the mobile home parks and of course the homes that are for sale. We have had some excellent feedback from visitors who have been and experienced for themselves the area and the parks we offer.
It is not only the resale mobile home side of the business that will keep the team busy this year. As previously reported the new residential style park Las Vistas is now up and running and plot reservations can now start. The website for the park itself is www.parklasvistas.com and the new mobile homes can be seen in the UK at our authorised dealers www.westfieldcaravans.co.uk in Blackpool where they have up to 50 show homes on display. Check out the new stock link on their website as they do have some special offers running at the moment.
2008 was not just a busy year for us but also a year where the business grew from the company being a dedicated resale mobile home company (which it was in 2007) to the all round Company that it is today dealing with every aspect of mobile homes, including resale s, new mobile home sales, relocation of customer s existing mobile homes and of course mobile home repairs. What has not changed however is that we only offer quality residential style mobile home parks in and around the town of Antequera, where we have all the staff and resources to ensure that we offer the very best service when it comes to mobile homes in Spain.
We have recently been asked why we do not offer parks and/or camp sites all over Spain, France and Portugal? The answer is quite straight forward. We have in place not only guides to show you the area and parks during the Inspection Visit stages but also park reps and maintenance staff as well. To offer this level of service all over Europe is impossible which means that were we to expand into those regions we would not be able to maintain the levels of service that we offer now. We hope newsletter subscribers who are thinking of France and Portugal (or camp sites all over Spain) will forgive us for not offering locations that are not 1) in the Antequera/Andaluc a region or 2) not residential style all year round parks.
Finally, to everyone who have been out to see us in 2008 who are now trying to sell their homes in the UK we hope you get some luck early on in the year so that you get to enjoy the late Spring and early Summer here in Spain which is a fabulous time of year to be making a new start in life.

BUYING A RESALE MOBILE HOME
The process is very easy. First choose from the homes on sale on our website, the homes you would like to view on a visit.
If a home ticks all the boxes during your visit you simply make a purchase request.
If the seller agrees to the sale we then arrange for a legal sales agreement to be drawn up and signed by all parties. This service costs just 200 Euros and it also includes a home check of the boiler, air-conditioning, cooker, fridge and freezer by the park engineers just prior to completion. Paying for this service takes the home off sale straight away.
A 10% deposit is then paid into a "Client Account" within 14 days and remains there until the completion date which will be on or before three months after an offer has been accepted. .
Just prior to the completion date the home is checked, we take possession of the home, and you will be advised to make the final payment to the seller. Once it is confirmed that the payment has been made the home is then yours.
No wonder resale mobile homes are so popular.
BUYING A NEW HOME
Buying a new UK mobile home or a custom-built residential Park Lodge Home is very easy. It simply involves slightly different processes.
For UK manufactured mobile homes we are partnered with Mobile Homes Abroad Ltd the largest exporter of UK mobile homes. Check out the New Mobile Homes link above to see which UK manufacturers are represented.
For Park Lodge Homes designed and built in Alicante and Burgos it is a different process. Once a plot has been reserved you can either buy a predesigned by us home or start designing your own home exactly how you want it.
A short visit to the factory in Alicante is all it takes. Where to put a French Door? Where the lounge should go? What view from the kitchen window? Questions the designer will help you with
We also offer ready designed custom-built Park Lodge homes with a new show area going onto Park La Posada. Check out the Park Lodge Homes link at the top.
New UK mobile home or custom-built residential Park Lodge Home? The choice is yours after you have reserved your plot on a park. New homes require a 35% deposit and the balance paid once the home is ready to be transported from the UK. Park Lodge Homes require a 30% deposit and the balance when the home is ready to leave the factory.
WHY COSTA DIFFERENCE?
The name Costa Difference was chosen for a reason back in 2005. Costa as in Costa del Sol or Costa Blanca, and Difference because we want to show the difference between dedicated genuine residential mobile home parks and tourist camping sites that also allow mobile homes.
Making a difference is all down to being passionate in what we do. We are also working with park owners who share our passion. The result? We are showing wonderful residential mobile home parks that are without doubt the best retirement parks that Spain has to offer.
Having chosen to represent residential parks only we are now tasked by the park owners to help people see for themselves if living in Spain is really for them. Spain does not suit everyone which is why that aspect of what we do is so important.
So where does our service start? We think that perhaps it has already started with you reading this and all the other information we have provided online. Maybe you now have some questions for us? If so please feel free to contact us and ask them.
Once you feel that you have found all the answers the next stage is to seriously think about coming on a visit to see a residential park and the lifestyle the residents enjoy.
On a short-dedicated visit you will have a golden opportunity to talk to residents you meet whilst on the park. Asking them questions at the time is a great idea because you will be hearing about their genuine experiences.
The Costa Difference way is very different. Our testimonials come from the residents themselves face to face. They have all gone through the same experiences. Started by asking questions, then came on a visit. After that it is back to the UK with plenty to think about.
If you do the same and moving to Spain becomes your dream, then we are going to be with you all the way.
There are many “Costa” companies on the internet selling everything to do with Spain but there is only ONE Costa Difference Mobile Homes in Spain. To find us again easily why not bookmark this page. We are at your service.

LATEST NEWS FROM SPAIN
Spanish prime minister, Pedro Sánchez, last week promised that Spain and the UK would reach an agreement over Gibraltar, in the context of Brexit, by the middle of October.
Speaking after the recent EU leaders' summit in Salzburg, he implied that there were still "complications" in discussions with the British government but expressed "the will" of both sides.
The "complications" in the negotiations are disagreements over "judicial and police cooperation as well as the environment and tax" and " tobacco".
"We're very near to reaching an agreement," said the Spanish prime minister, adding that the British government was being very constructive.
"I think that we can reach an agreement in October," he said.
A planned summit in Brussels on 18 October over Brexit is seen as a focal point in negotiations with the possibility of a further summit between EU leaders in November if needed.
