There are two main reasons why a dedicated residential style mobile home
park is so different to a joint camping/mobile home park.
1) The licence for the joint park is more
than likely for normal camping and the number of static mobile homes allowed
on the camping site could be restricted. Camping sites also tend to allow sub
letting which means you can have different holiday makers next door every two
weeks.
2) When the Spanish go camping they like to
party so at Easter and throughout the summer it will be very busy, very
noisy and you will have children and dogs running around. Do not expect the
noise to stop at midnight either. The other thing to consider when looking at a
camping site with the view to buying a mobile home is the fact that when the
facilities are needed most such as the swimming pool in the summer you will
share the facilities with a lot of people who are on a camping holiday and plan to only be
there for two weeks.

Very
few camping sites have a totally dedicated section for mobile homes which means
that once someone books into the site as a camper they are free to walk around
the site as they wish. The children on the park are also free to do so as well.
It is after all a park dedicated to holiday makers.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Not
so with dedicated residential only parks.
The facilities are there for the residents only
and so you know that you will be sharing the facilities with like minded people
who have also moved to Spain to live. They are not there for a week or a fortnight.
That is important because top class park should always offer their residents top
class exclusive facilities. Park La Posada is a top class park. You will know in the morning that there will be a
sun bed by the pool for you. You do not need to reserve your sunshade or a table
for lunch. You can look forward to relaxing with friends and neighbours.

When looking at looking at different parks on the
Internet check first as to whether it is a camp site/mobile park or a
residential style dedicated mobile home park being offered.
If the park allows camping you have to accept strangers will be on the park
at all times. Some sites have up to 200 camping pitches. On the dedicated
residential parks the residents have remote controls that allows them to come
and go as they wish and nobody can just walk in. The parks are 100% exclusive.
Camp sites will also have many different nationalities staying on them where as
on the UK style parks all the residents are British and so a
community spirit develops. This is an important factor as you will find making
new friends so much easier. You will become part of an established community.
The back up that offers is priceless.
The first question should always be when being shown a new park "does the park
also allow camping?". If yes then you at least now know the drawbacks. It could
well allow sub letting which means you could have different neighbours living
next door every two weeks as well as the campers. Not so with dedicated residential parks.
Resale mobile homes
on mobile home only parks are ideal in that you can see exactly how the park is
and you will get to see how the community is straight away.
Not a tent to be seen, only contented residents. That is so important if living
in Spain is your dream. You will have friends and neighbours at the same time.
The
lifestyle is why CD Ltd Mobile Home is dedicated to residential only parks. If
you own a mobile home already on a camp site in Spain and now wish it was on a
residential only park you might consider using our
relocation
service.
