It means that new home buyers who have to pay a large deposit (to have the home built) and then the full amount (before the home can be transported to Spain) are doing so at their own risk because the sale is only completed once the home has been transported to Spain and installed on the park of their choice, and this can take weeks. New homes need to be paid in full whilst they are still in the UK. This is one of the biggest drawbacks when buying a new mobile home in Spain. A lot of money needs to be paid well in advance before the home is on the park. You could easily pay £50,000 up front and have nothing to show for it. Not even a set of keys.

The seller is not paid one single penny until you own the home. Perfect, a very safe way to live the dream in Spain without paying all the money up front.
