MOBILE HOME IN SPAIN NEWSLETTER ARCHIVE MAR 2014
Why mobile home parks? Nearly everyone likes the idea of living abroad in a country that has much better weather than the UK in retirement. Easier said than done of course, it normally takes a huge amount of planning and in the case of buying bricks and mortar a lot of money. Mobile home parks on the Costa del Sol however are the ideal solution.
Planning your retirement in the sun is very easy and you can live in Spain without spending a fortune. The lifestyle does not suit everyone of course but for those lucky people who take to Spain like ducks to water life here can be fantastic. Better still is the fact that we can help make it happen and the parks are experienced in looking after residents once they are living in Spain.

Winter is nearly over: This is going to sound daft after all the crazy weather the UK has endured during the winter months but it is worth pointing out that residents who have been here a few years now have acclimatised to the Spanish weather and are really looking forward to the warmer months of April and May. A temperature of 16 degrees during the day is regarded as chilly for some and a temperature of 12 degrees is downright freezing.
>>> Winter is cooler with a few days of rain. The good news is it does not last forever<<<
Lifestyle: Each month we try to give readers a little lifestyle information from pets to cars and a lot more besides. This month it is all about family and friends. The Costa del Sol is not a million miles away from the UK. That means the family can visit often and of course popping back to the UK is also normal. Better still is that using tricks of the trade when booking low cost flights means that popping back can be as cost effective as popping to see the family when still living in the UK.
Park La Posada however has taken it one-step further. They have a mobile home on the park that can be rented solely by residents for their relatives to use when visiting. It means sons, daughters and of course the grandchildren can now come and visit and enjoy a holiday at the same time.
>>> The parks although residential are perfect for visiting families <<<
Why Spain? As far as living on the parks goes only the weather and language outside the park is different. On the park it is like any other mobile home retirement park situated in the UK. You have a problem, you pop to the office. You run out of sugar, you pop next door. Community lifestyle is what it is all about.
It is also worth mentioning that Spain is not a backward country. The medical services offered to residents are excellent and the local villages are prosperous with olives being the local industry. Locally everything is to hand. The parks over the years have become part of the local community as well and the locals know that the residents living here are a far cry from the lager louts they hear about all along the coast. The parks are in real Spain.
Residents are also registered with the town hall which means they get to enjoy all the benefits of the local community as well.
>>> Villages hold many fiestas during the year with entertainment for the villagers <<<
Spanish you will hear: Living in real Spain is one huge part of the retirement lifestyle (it is not all about park life) so why not let us help you in advance to understand a few words that the residents hear all the time when they venture into real Spain which as you already know begins as soon as they exit the park.
For this month the chosen word is empuje . You will see this word a lot rather than hear it. It is on nearly every door to every shop or restaurant and simply put it means push . Living in Spain is very easy of course because there are many ways to get around the differences in the languages.
Not a problem on the parks themselves of course because everyone speaks English but now nearly everyone in the villages either speak Spanglish or know what you will be wanting anyway.
>>> The park office is simply a phone call away for help whilst outside the park itself <<<
Mobile homes for sale: There are some great homes on offer right now to show you. We say show you because no one ever comes on a first time visit in order to buy a home. That only happens on a second or third visit having seen what life is all about living on the Costa del Sol first.
Our day trips from the coast to see the parks and area whilst enjoying a holiday in Torremolinos or Benalmadena have been a huge success as far as first time visits are concerned. Lots of people have enjoyed a holiday already this year and at the same time seen the parks and area.
With airport transfers to and from their hotels sorted as well it means visitors have nothing to worry about once they have booked their holiday and reserved their day out.

Finally: For some newsletter readers we are possibly leaving the best news until last. As you know we have always been able to relocate clients own mobile homes onto Park La Posada from the UK, France or other parks in Spain for people who want to upgrade their home location to a five star residential park.
However, it is also fair to say that over the years we have dealt with many requests as to how much it will be to move a home from an open 10 months a year park in the UK to Spain. Well now the good news. With BCT transport and Park La Posada we have put together a one package covers all for all mobile homes in the UK that are not bigger than 40 x 12.5.
For all plots reserved during the next four months we guarantee it will not cost more than 9,000 in total to make the move from the UK to Park La Posada in Spain. The guaranteed price will cover everything from transportation from the **existing park** in the UK to Spain as well as siting and installation onto the chosen landscaped 200 sq mtr plot on Park La Posada. For homes that are 13 or 14 foot wide we will have to give a quote as they will need a special transport permit and an extra escort vehicle.
** Homes in a location to be easily loaded onto the transporter**
