Park La Posada becomes the first mobile home Retirement Village in Spain:
From the 1st of May 2012 Park La Posada becomes the first dedicated mobile home retirement village in Spain. The change was very easy because almost everything required was already in place. It is exciting news for the retired residents already living on Posada as well as for those who have been on a visit and are making plans to retire to Spain soon.
New services have been introduced and the management are keen to develop the concept further in the future to put Park La Posada well and truly on the Costa del Sol map as being the best location to retire to.
Why Retirement Village?
In short it is all about providing the right kind of service to the right kind of resident. Retiring to Spain to live in a mobile home is very easy and very cost effective of course but it is even better knowing that the park is dedicated to looking after the retired residents and more importantly new residents can relax knowing that their neighbours will be retired like themselves and enjoying life to the full.
What s new? The office has always dealt with everything Spanish related to help the residents such as arranging home insurance or translating anything that needs translating within the park itself but never before have they been in a position to help once residents are away from the park going about their daily lives.
This now changes as one of the new Retirement Village services will be a dedicated phone number that gives all residents direct access to a translator during working hours. For example, if a resident is in Malaga buying garden furniture and is struggling with the sales person to arrange delivery of the larger items to the park all they will need to do to overcome this is ring the translation number and tell the translator what they want to arrange and then hand their phone to the sales person. This service means all residents living on Park La Posada are never alone. Help is only a phone call away.
Other services: Ideas of a perfect retirement differs from one person to the next. Of course knowing you will be very well looked after and living with like minded residents is wonderful but what if a little help is needed at any time. To that end the park now has a team of cleaners that can be engaged on a short term basis or on a weekly basis to make life just that little bit easier as well if needed or simply desired. The park will also be offering a transport service to the local village of Alameda and later on plan to offer transport to the town of Antequera as well. This new service means that owning a car is now no longer essential.
What the park now offers residents:-
24 hour security,
own post box,
UK television connected to every home,
WiFi Internet connection,
telephone translation service,
4 lane outdoor all weather bowls green with resident bowls club
This all makes the La Posada Retirement Village totally unique and the only one of it’s kind in Spain.
Using the services that the park offers means the residents are able to arrange many things themselves such as live entertainment and coach trips to some very interesting places such as Gibraltar. The park management and staff are on hand to help in any way they can and the very well organised residents social committee have come up with many successful outings over the last 12 months.
Lifestyle: Gone now are the concerns of sons and daughters when being told that mum and dad are thinking of retiring to Spain. They only need to take a look at the park itself to realise that everything is taken care of and enjoying life is the biggest thing on offer. La Posada is truly unique. The lifestyle is relaxed yet exciting, Andalucia and the Costa del Sol is warm yet a cool place to live. BBQ s are planned but never cancelled because of rain.
What next? Over the coming months and years La Posada will be dedicating itself to offering UK residents the perfect retirement to Spain package and we at Costa Difference Ltd have been very proud to be involved. We have seen facilities introduced such as the 50,000 Euro bowls green as well as many extra services being offered to residents.
We will continue working with La Posada so that we can help many people retire to Spain from as little as 18,000. Resale mobile homes on La Posada are great value and because the park is so wonderful we know that for years to come it will continue to grow as the perfect retirement location in terms of services on offer and the community spirit of the residents themselves.
Seeing for yourself: We of course offer the standard short three day two night visits for those who want to come and take a quick look to see what it is all about and full details of those are on the Costa Difference website. However, one of the most popular ways is to enjoy a holiday and then pop and see the park for the day as part of their holiday.
Driving to the park is very easy with motorway access from every direction and for those who do not plan to hire a car whilst on holiday we offer a hotel pick up service from the resorts of Malaga, Torremolinos and Benalmadina so finding a holiday in either of those locations means you get the best of both worlds. You can enjoy a holiday in Spain as well as take the chance to see the only mobile home retirement village in Spain. It will make for a great day out.
50 (up to 4 people) is charged to cover costs but it is worth every cent because you are guaranteed a pleasant visit without any obligations whatsoever.

BUYING A RESALE MOBILE HOME
The process is very easy. First choose from the homes on sale on our website, the homes you would like to view on a visit.
If a home ticks all the boxes during your visit you simply make a purchase request.
If the seller agrees to the sale we then arrange for a legal sales agreement to be drawn up and signed by all parties. This service costs just 200 Euros and it also includes a home check of the boiler, air-conditioning, cooker, fridge and freezer by the park engineers just prior to completion. Paying for this service takes the home off sale straight away.
A 10% deposit is then paid into a "Client Account" within 14 days and remains there until the completion date which will be on or before three months after an offer has been accepted. .
Just prior to the completion date the home is checked, we take possession of the home, and you will be advised to make the final payment to the seller. Once it is confirmed that the payment has been made the home is then yours.
No wonder resale mobile homes are so popular.
BUYING A NEW HOME
Buying a new UK mobile home or a custom-built residential Park Lodge Home is very easy. It simply involves slightly different processes.
For UK manufactured mobile homes we are partnered with Mobile Homes Abroad Ltd the largest exporter of UK mobile homes. Check out the New Mobile Homes link above to see which UK manufacturers are represented.
For Park Lodge Homes designed and built in Alicante and Burgos it is a different process. Once a plot has been reserved you can either buy a predesigned by us home or start designing your own home exactly how you want it.
A short visit to the factory in Alicante is all it takes. Where to put a French Door? Where the lounge should go? What view from the kitchen window? Questions the designer will help you with
We also offer ready designed custom-built Park Lodge homes with a new show area going onto Park La Posada. Check out the Park Lodge Homes link at the top.
New UK mobile home or custom-built residential Park Lodge Home? The choice is yours after you have reserved your plot on a park. New homes require a 35% deposit and the balance paid once the home is ready to be transported from the UK. Park Lodge Homes require a 30% deposit and the balance when the home is ready to leave the factory.
WHY COSTA DIFFERENCE?
The name Costa Difference was chosen for a reason back in 2005. Costa as in Costa del Sol or Costa Blanca, and Difference because we want to show the difference between dedicated genuine residential mobile home parks and tourist camping sites that also allow mobile homes.
Making a difference is all down to being passionate in what we do. We are also working with park owners who share our passion. The result? We are showing wonderful residential mobile home parks that are without doubt the best retirement parks that Spain has to offer.
Having chosen to represent residential parks only we are now tasked by the park owners to help people see for themselves if living in Spain is really for them. Spain does not suit everyone which is why that aspect of what we do is so important.
So where does our service start? We think that perhaps it has already started with you reading this and all the other information we have provided online. Maybe you now have some questions for us? If so please feel free to contact us and ask them.
Once you feel that you have found all the answers the next stage is to seriously think about coming on a visit to see a residential park and the lifestyle the residents enjoy.
On a short-dedicated visit you will have a golden opportunity to talk to residents you meet whilst on the park. Asking them questions at the time is a great idea because you will be hearing about their genuine experiences.
The Costa Difference way is very different. Our testimonials come from the residents themselves face to face. They have all gone through the same experiences. Started by asking questions, then came on a visit. After that it is back to the UK with plenty to think about.
If you do the same and moving to Spain becomes your dream, then we are going to be with you all the way.
There are many “Costa” companies on the internet selling everything to do with Spain but there is only ONE Costa Difference Mobile Homes in Spain. To find us again easily why not bookmark this page. We are at your service.

Spain has "opened its arms at a time when many countries are rejecting refugees," said Elhadj As Sy of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies in the Spanish port of Valencia, where he was overseeing the arrival of 630 migrants from the Aquarius rescue boat.
