Firstly we welcome two new members of staff to the team in Spain this month, Suzanne and Eduardo. Both are going to be working on new projects and services that we plan to offer our clients soon and full details of what they will be doing will be given in next months newsletter .

Now back to this month s newsletter. We are going to take this opportunity to explain what we do best, finding for our clients the perfect great value resale mobile home on one of the three parks that are close to the town of Antequera.
Regular newsletter subscribers will know that the parks are Park La Vi a in the village of Mollina, Park La Posada in the village of Alameda and last but not least Flamingo Park in the village of Fuente De Piedra. With all 3 villages close to each other it is possible on the Inspection Visits (or as we prefer to call them Fact Finding Visits ) to get to see all three villages and all three parks making the short break very well worthwhile.
Park La Vi a is a residential style park situated on the outskirts of the village. From the top of the park it is only a short walk through the vineyards to the centre of the village. Mollina has everything for the ex-pat with an English book shop, local supermarkets as well as Spanish & English Bars. The homes themselves are all on 200 sq metre plots and the park has been designed in such a way that the homes have different style plots in many cases. The result of the park layout is that it has a very cosy feel and helps create a great community spirit.
Park La Posada is the newest park and in complete contrast to La Vi a the park is in the traditional style similar to residential style parks in the UK with all the plots more or less the same. The facilities are to a very high standard and like La Vi a it has Satellite TV, phones and Internet. Being so different means that visitors can get a very good idea of why this park or that park has been chosen by the residents who are already living there.
Flamingo Park is alongside the famous Flamingo Lake. A very quiet park with only 35 homes but is the only park that has double units for sale. Views and peace and quiet is on offer here. There is a good sized bar and restaurant on site as well. Again this park is only a short walk into the village and like the village of Alameda it is very Spanish.
So, why buy a resale mobile home? The answer is very simple; they represent great value for money and by buying right it means you have more money to spend on enjoying yourself here in Spain. The main saving is the decking which is very expensive here in Spain. Nearly all the resale mobile homes listed on the website come complete with decking. This saves you between 5,000 and 10,000.
The other good thing is that all the resale mobile homes come with lots of extras as well; washing machines, sheds, tables & chairs are just some examples along with air conditioning units of course. In some cases you can move straight in as the vendors are leaving almost everything. In short, three parks near three villages and homes built by all the major manufacturers on offer.
The only things they have in common is all three have swimming pools and facilities, all are close to the town of Antequera and of course we have staff living on the parks to look after our clients.
A new life in Spain in a mobile home is well worth thinking about and the process is simple. 1) check out the homes on offer via the website, 2) take a fact finding visit, 3) if you liked what you saw ask us how we can help you find a mobile home for you. If after the visit you decide it is not what you want (and people do sometimes) then at least you have had a few days in Spain and know exactly what living on a residential style park is like.

BUYING A RESALE MOBILE HOME
The process is very easy. First choose from the homes on sale on our website, the homes you would like to view on a visit.
If a home ticks all the boxes during your visit you simply make a purchase request.
If the seller agrees to the sale we then arrange for a legal sales agreement to be drawn up and signed by all parties. This service costs just 200 Euros and it also includes a home check of the boiler, air-conditioning, cooker, fridge and freezer by the park engineers just prior to completion. Paying for this service takes the home off sale straight away.
A 10% deposit is then paid into a "Client Account" within 14 days and remains there until the completion date which will be on or before three months after an offer has been accepted. .
Just prior to the completion date the home is checked, we take possession of the home, and you will be advised to make the final payment to the seller. Once it is confirmed that the payment has been made the home is then yours.
No wonder resale mobile homes are so popular.
BUYING A NEW HOME
Buying a new mobile home or a custom-built Park Lodge Home is just as easy. It simply involves different processes. For UK manufactured mobile homes we recommend Willerby/BK Bluebird and Regal Leisure Homes.
Both manufacturers display show homes at various mobile home shows throughout the year, so you can always get to see the latest models. Regal Leisure also have the big advantage in that they are not far from Yeovil our UK base, which means we can easily arrange factory visits.
For Park Lodge Homes designed and built in Alicante it is a different process. Once a plot has been reserved you can start designing a home best suited to where it will be going. Where to put a French Door? Where the lounge should go? What view from the kitchen window?
To help you design your home we allocate a project manager to you. He will arrange a visit to the factory in Alicante so you can see for yourself all the choices you have. You can even start with a model already designed such as “The Windsor” and alter it to suit you.
No two Park Lodge Homes will look the same which means you can make the home into something special to you. You will also not be paying so much money to transport the home to the park as it will already be in Spain. This means more can be spent on the home itself.
New UK mobile home or custom built Park Lodge Home? The choice is yours after you have reserved your plot on either park. New homes require a 35% deposit and the balance paid once the home is ready to be transported.

Tens of thousands of Spaniards rallied across the country on Saturday to demand better pensions.
Pensioners braved rain and snow showers as they poured onto the streets of the capital Madrid and Barcelona to vent their anger at conservative Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy.
Pensioners all over Spain are fuming after seeing their benefits rise by an annual 0.25 in recent years, well below an official inflation rate of 1.2 percent in 2017.
The government however maintains it must balance the books somehow to stay within EU spending guidelines even as the population ages. The situation made worse of course with Spain having one of Europe's lowest birth rates.
According to Eurostat data, 28.7 percent of residents of EU states will be aged over 65 by 2080, up from 18.9 percent in 2015. Pensions will be a problem for every country by then of course.
