Below are some of the frequently asked questions when it comes to buying a Pre Owned Mobile Home or a new Mobile Home.


What will my resale mobile home cost exactly

The advertised price is the final price you will pay for the home including decking, fixtures and fittings. Site fees and the water connection charge are due in advance with effect from the date of purchase. It makes buying a re-sale mobile home so cost effective because all the hard work has been done. Wood is one of the few things that is expensive in Spain, so good decking already in place means you enjoy life straight away.

What is included in the resale price

The homes are all fully furnished. Extras added to the home after it was installed such as decking, sheds and washing machines for example are listed as part of the sale document and are included in the advertised price so you will know exactly what you are buying. There will be no hidden extras and of course you can see everything in place when you view the home. Your guide on the Inspection Visit will make sure that you see only the homes that might interest you and if your Inspection Visit is only a fact finding visit then we show you our selection of resale show homes that are empty allowing you time to get a feel of what living in a mobile home could be like.

What are the Annual Park Fees (applies to both new & resale)

The annual Park fees vary slightly from Park to Park but the average is 320 Euros a month.

Electricity and water are metered and cost less than the equivalent consumption would cost you in the UK. Home insurance is around 220 Euros and the orange gas bottles cost around 12 euros and are delivered.

What are the legal requirements (applies to both new & resale)

 A lease is issued by the Park owners and renewed automatically at the end of each period. The conditions vary from Park to Park but you will always have the lease first before the purchase of the home. After that all is required is a legal contract of sale. Costadifference Ltd takes care of all the paperwork that is required.

How long can my mobile home remain on the Park (applies to both new & resale)

There is no limit as to the length of time the home can stay on site. Provided the fees are paid and the site rules and regulations are met the Park Management will respect you as the owner and the rental agreement will be automatically renewed.

Can I come and take a look without any pressure to buy(applies to both new & resale)

It is what we do best. We are here to show you the life style as well as the town of Antequera and the villages of Mollina and Alameda. We book you in a hotel in the heart of Antequera for either 2 or 3 nights and you are free to enjoy what the town has to offer on your own. We supply you a guide for the day of your Inspection Visit to show you around and once you have seen everything we then take you back to the hotel to relax and enjoy yourselves. You will have plenty to talk about over dinner that is for sure. Our guides on the inspection visit are there to give you as much information that you need. In the event that you are seriously considering buying a resale mobile home (on a second Inspection Visit for example) then their role changes so that they can show you homes new or resale that fit your requirement as well as representing great value for money.
