Dogs on the parks in Spain
Dogs on the parks in Spain:
Like in the UK the Spanish have a dangerous dogs list and it is important to check the list to see if your pet falls into any of the breeds listed if you are thinking of coming to Spain. That includes cross breeds as well. The breeds that are not allowed are,
Doberman, Pit Bull Terrier, Staffordshire Bull Terrier, American Staffordshire Terrier, Rottweiler, Dogo Argentino, Fila Brasileiro, Tosa Inu, Akita Inu
If you are thinking of bringing a dog to Spain and there is some doubt about it being a cross breed with a dog on the list you will need a vet’s certificate confirming what breed of dog it is, you can get one at the same time as getting a pet passport. Saying that your pet is a “Heinz 57” is not classed as a breed, and it will not be allowed if it resembles a banned breed in any way.
There are also rules about the size of dog as well as far as the two parks go. It must not exceed a height of 50 cm or weigh over 20 Kg. If you are in any doubt please contact us before booking your park inspection visit
Both parks have wonderful walks all around so exercising your pet is always a pleasure and of course you can forget the wellies.
