One of the biggest concerns people have when considering taking a look at
any mobile home park is the worry that once through the gates they will be
subjected to a hard sell salesman. It is a concern we understand very well
and have everything in place to ensure that is the very last thing a visitor
experiences from the very first moment. Why, because when visiting the parks
you are welcomed by a resident who lives on the park.
His or hers first question would be “would you like a cup of tea” and NOT “what
is your budget?” You are then free to tell them that you are simply just taking
a look if that is the purpose of your visit. You are then shown the park in
full, told all the facts and figures and shown a few empty homes. We do not show
homes with residents living in them at that stage to ensure that no visitor
feels awkward in disturbing a resident when clearly they will not be selling
their home. Visitors’ feeling very comfortable during their visit is very
important to us. When we say no pressure we mean no pressure and because a
resident is showing the park it is very easy to soon get a feel of the park
itself which is the reason for any visit in the first place.
Nine times out of ten in Spain if you plan something outside the weather will be
kind. Not so on the day of the Royal Wedding. The residents had planned a street
party which is very easy on the park because they could close a road without
needing permission from anyone. The management is happy to let the residents
enjoy themselves in any way on the park. However, the weather had other ideas
and would you believe it, RAIN. Weeks of sunshine and it rained on the day of
the Royal Wedding. Everything was then taken into the community center and
everyone of course enjoyed themselves all day.
We are of course very happy to give anyone full instructions on how to make
their own way to the park. We like the idea of people making their own way as
they get to see and experience the local area at the same time. All we ask for
please is at least three days notice because the person who will be showing you
around has to be allocated because being residents first and foremost they do
spend most of their time enjoying themselves. Peter & Jean are good examples;
they are now keen bowlers now that the bowling green is in action.
If the plan is to drive to the park whilst on holiday on the Costa del Sol then
the best way is to e-mail steve@costadifference.com he will make arrangements
and send you full driving instructions from the resort you plan to stay on.
If you prefer to talk to someone then simply ring the UK office on 01935
427759 If however the plan is to come on a short three day visit then it is
always best to phone the office first before booking any flights.
The world crisis has hit every country for sure and every country is going
through pain. The UK is no exception. However, many people express the concern
that because the UK is not in the Euro Zone there will always be a concern over
the exchange rate. We fully understand that of course but here is one thing that
has never been explained before and is one thing that makes buying a quality
resale mobile home so much easier than bricks and mortar. The home is bought in
pounds. The value of the home is never affected by the Euro. If ever in the
future you wish to sell the home you can easily do so again in pounds.
Q/ I am on medication can I get my medication here? The answer is yes. When you
are registered with the doctor it is always recommended that you see the doctor
as soon as possible so that he can fully understand you condition. The medical
facilities are fantastic here. Everything is then put in place for your
treatment to continue.
We are seeing more and more companies popping up offering to deliver UK stores
products. It seems that the big stores in the UK have seen a big market is
untapped in Spain. If the trend continues you will soon be able to order almost
anything from the UK.
